Holy Stone 430

The Holy Stone HS430, is most definitely one of my favorite drones ever. It is very small and is considered a mini-drone, pocket drone, and is a great drone for teenagers even as a toy drone. It weighs in very light at only 75 grams, being well under the FAA's 250g (0.55 lbs) and over registration requirement.

It is also equipped with a 1080p HD camera and can take either HD photos, or record video directly to your phone via its own Wi-Fi hotspot. It is easy to connect to and you can even fly it using a VR-style headset if you want. It's about the size of a computer mouse when all folded in. It is very easy and safe to fly indoors. If flown outdoors, the wind, and its gusts, must be well under 5mph, or you can very easily lose the drone... Unfortunately, I'm speaking from experience, so I purchased another one, this one in the HS Black Bird color scheme.

Exo Ranger

My workhorse, the Exo X7 Ranger Plus... This bad girl can handle the 20 mph+ winds and gusts and is GPS-enabled. This allows the drone to try and keep it where you last left it, regardless of the wind speed and its direction. It does a lot of work in a decent wind though, and it will decrease your batteries quicker leading to shorter flight times. I like 5-10 mph breezes the best for flying anyways. It's much more enjoyable and longer lasting...

The GPS functionality helps greatly with this drone's primary function, and that is to take aerial HD pics, which it does beautifully. It has a 3-axis gimbal camera mount, which helps to elleviate the camera shake or movement from the drone's own movement in the air. The pic below, ironically, was blurred on purpose using software, the drone itself takes very clear pics.

This bad girl is also very fast. I think she is rated up to somewhere around 27 mph. She is very sporty, like the HS430, but this drone has the GPS capability, which proivides for a much more stable and safer flight. It also aides in taking good aerial shots; which is mostly what I use it for. Here are some of my more recent pics taken from the Ranger 7:
